This week will mark week 3 of the TGHBPSC, exciting! I decided to post about my style this week because I have yet to make a video tutorial and I know some of y'all are giving me the side eye! I promise, it's coming. I just have to make time to record it. I usually do my hair at night and am too tired to record the process but SOON I will make a specific time for recording. Probably in a week or so when I take down this style.
So, I achieved this look by using Carol's Daughters Black Vanilla and Tui line. First, I parted my hair in 4 section. 2 side sections for the flat twists and 1 section in the front and back of my head for my individual twists. Overall I am pleased with the result. I am still trying to perfect my twisting method. I have been wearing my bang section in a stretched twist out recently to spruce up my PS.
As you can see in the photos my hair is tucked in the back. This was achieved by simply tucking and rolling the ends and securing with bobby pins. I find that straight pins work the best to hold the twists in place. Next week, I plan on trying something a little different so stay tuned for the video tutorial.
xoxo,
Alex
